Abstract
The panel data of 30 provinces and cities from 2007 to 2018 was selected as the research samples to empirically analyze the effect of institutional change on entrepreneurial innovation and entrepreneurial spirit,and further examine the intermediary role of entrepreneurship in the relationship between institutional change and economic development.The research results show that institutional change has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial innovation and entrepreneurial spirit;entrepreneurial innovation and entrepreneurial spirit play a part of the intermediary role in the relationship between institutional change and economic development,that is,institutional change can promote economic development by improving entrepreneurial innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Based on the research conclusions,suggestions are made for the government to improve the policies and systems related to innovation,for enterprises to attach importance to the formation of an innovation atmosphere,and for entrepreneurs to improve their innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities.It provides reference significance for the cultivation and stimulation of entrepreneurship and the rapid development of social economy.
