Abstract

The high quality of university technology transfer office's performance can promote the industrialization of scientific research and realize its value.Taking Industry-University-Research Alliance Centers in Zhejiang province as cases,this study adopts the multi-case study method to encode and analyze the case data,and develop a "re- source-capability-relationship"model to unveil the mechanism of performance enhancement for university technology transfer office.The resource element of university technology transfer office could be both internal and external, and tangible and intangible.The capability element has diversified and both internal and external sub-elements. The relationship element has both instrumental and expressive types.The three elements are jointly critical to the performance of university technology transfer office,as the resource is the basis;the relationship is the linkage and the capability is the force.
