Abstract
In order to enhance the basic manufacturing capacity and international competitiveness of Japan,government of Japan attached great importance to the support of manufacturing niche top enterprises.Since March 2014, Japan has commended two groups of hidden champion enterprises,and increased support for technology innovation, fund subsidy,talent cultivation and market development of small and medium-sized enterprises and hidden champion enterprises.This paper summarized selection criteria of Japanese hidden champions and its successful experience of market and technological innovation as well as policies of Japanese government.At present,China is facing the challenges of industry chain and supply chain security brought by new international competition situation.There- fore,this research is of significance for the reconstruction of manufacturing industry system in China and development of Chinese hidden champion enterprise in the world.
