Abstract
At present, the transformation from "speed"to "quality"is one of the main goals of China's regional development, and innovative human capital is the key factor to promote the quality of regional development.Based on the theory of regional coordinated development, this paper evaluates the quality of regional development, brings the heterogeneous threshold of urbanization into the research framework and constructs a dynamic threshold model, and then empirically studies the role of innovative human capital at different urbanization levels in China on the quality of regional development. The results show that the quality of regional development in China is still at a low level on the whole. At the same time, under the heterogeneous effect of urbanization, there is a nonlinear relationship between innovative human capital and regional development quality, that is,urbanization at a low level is not conducive to the promotion of innovative human capital on regional development quality; However, with the rising level of urbanization and exceeding its threshold,it is conducive to the rational distribution of innovative human capital and the exertion of its creative role, which can promote the improvement of the quality of regional development to a certain extent.
