Abstract
In order to explore the development level and trend of regional innovation and entrepreneurship ecology in China, this paper constructed an evaluation index system including four dimensions of innovation and entrepreneurship community, innovation and entrepreneurship resource, innovation and entrepreneurship efficiency, innovation and entrepreneurship competitiveness; and then based on the yearbook statistics of 29 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions) in China, this paper used catastrophe progression method and dynamic comprehensive evaluation method with speed characteristic to evaluate the development level of the regional innovation and entrepreneurship ecology. The research results show that the imbalanced development of regional innovation and entrepreneurship ecology in China has improved in the past five years; the development of innovation and entrepreneurship ecology in the eastern region has stagnated, and the development prospects of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecology in most provinces of Midwest region and Northeast region are promising. This study helps to accurately reflect the development differences of regional innovation and entrepreneurship ecology in different regions, and thus provides a reliable basis for the formulation and implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship policies.
