Abstract
The foreign direct investment of emerging economies represented by China have become active. In order to grasp the impact of foreign direct investment on enterprise innovation from a dynamic perspective and further promote and optimize the “going out” policy of Chinese enterprises, this paper analyzes and puts forward relevant theoretical assumptions in combination with basic theories such as “ time compression is uneconomical”, and selects the panel data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2017 for verification. The results show that: the effect of the speed of foreign direct investment on enterprise innovation is “inverted U”; The depth of foreign direct investment weakens the impact of the speed of foreign direct investment on innovation, but the regulatory effect of the breadth of foreign direct investment is weak; Regional heterogeneity analysis found that the differences in geographical space, institutional distance and whether they belong to the same regional organization will affect the relationship between the speed of foreign direct investment and enterprise innovation.
