Abstract
In order to explore the role of business model in improving the performance of industrial chain enterprises, the design mechanism of business model of industrial chain enterprises is analyzed based on the industrial chain theory and business model theory. 'Two elements of “ value creation link”and “ value proposition”( hereinafter referred to as “two elements”) are proposed. The two elements combine the characteristics of the industrial chain and the business model at the same time , and the business model of the industrial chain enterprises is classified and designed based on the two elements. Taking 186 China's semiconductor industry chain companies ( all listed companies) as the research object, the K-W test analysis method is used to verify that the use of two elements is effective in the classification of semiconductor industry chain companies’ business models. Considering the influence of multiple economic factors, the research constructs a multiple regression model of the impact of business model types of semiconductor industry chain companies on corporate performance. Regression analysis again shows that the business model classification design of semiconductor industry chain enterprises is reasonable. Different types of business models show differentiated performance competitiveness. Based on the empirical results, countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of the semiconductor industry chain business model are proposed
