Abstract

Taking the Yangtze River Delta region of China as the research object, this paper designs the evaluation index system by constructing the coupling relationship model between high-quality regional economic development and scientific and technological innovation. Firstly, using the entropy method and linear weighted sum method, this paper selects the panel data of 26 central cities in three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta from 2010to 2019 to empirically analyze the coupling and coordination degree between the two systems of high-quality economic development and scientific and technological innovation in the Yangtze River Delta. Then the spatial econometric model is used to further analyze the influencing factors of the coupling and coordination of the two systems.The results show that the benign coupling and coordination mechanism in the Yangtze River Delta region has been initially formed, and the overall coordination degree is high, but the development is not balanced. The coupling and coordination degree gap between provinces and cities is obvious and the growth rate is relatively slow. Among them , the change trend of coupling degree and coordination degree in Jiangsu Province is almost consistent with the overall change in the Yangtze River Delta region; Zhejiang Province continued to improve, and the change trend gradually converged with the overall trend of the Yangtze River Delta: As a whole, Shanghai is in a relatively stable state: However, Anhui Province is relatively backward, with coupling degree and coordination degree at the bot.tom. In the analysis of influencing factors, financial policy , industrialization level, informatization level, enterprise internal R&D, economic development level and other factors have different degrees of positive impact on the coupling and coordination of the two systems in the Yangtze River Delta region, and there is an obvious spatial spillover effect. Finally, on this basis, this paper puts forward four targeted countermeasures, which provides useful enlightenment for accelerating the coordinated development of the overall economy and scientific and technological innovation in the Yangtze River Delta.
